Long Arm Rental Certification

We offer 2 levels of certification. Long Arm Basic Certification and Computer Certification. Basic Certification: Learn Long Arm basics by the end of class you will be able to quilt an allover design on your own quilt! Computer Certification: After basic certification you will learn how to use Pro-Stitcher to quilt an allover design pattern.

Basic Certification –Learn Longarm basics & By the end of class, you’ll be able to quilt an allover design on your own quilt! Take this class if you want to do you own free motion quilting.

During the class we’ll cover:

• Basic functions on the machine and how to use them safely
• Using Zipper Leaders to attach your quilt to the machine
• How to do basic free motion quilting
• Choosing thread
• Addressing tension issues
• Advancing your quilt on the frame
• Basting your quilt
• Basic Free Motion Quilting (FMQ) designs
• Removing your finished quilt

Computer Certification - In this class you will learn how to use Pro-Stitcher to quilt using the built-in stippling design or a more detailed design pattern. Take this class if you don’t want computer quilting.

During this class we will cover everything that the Basic class covers plus Pro-stitcher:

• Set your area & load designs
• Re-position after advancing your quilt
• Recover from thread breaks and more.
